Crossroads Farm Volunteer Opportunities
Crossroads Farm is a place to enjoy the outdoors, connect with the environment, community and build comradery with like-minded volunteers
Greenhouse
Assist staff in organic greenhouse, seeding, transplanting and watering
Field
Assist staff with farming, weeding, preparing beds, mulching, planting, watering, harvesting crops and more, there is always work to be done, a farmer’s day never ends!
Education
Assist education projects, programs and internships. We provide education to school groups and the community
Farm Stand
Help with set up and take down, preparing harvest for sale, greet and assist shoppers while promoting the mission of Crossroads Farm. Create recipes for in season harvest
Carpentry and Maintenance
Assist with farm projects, general maintenance, event set up and farm needs.
Individuals with carpentry skills are greatly desired for maintenance and restoration
Special Events
Assist in event planning and help increase funding while raising public awareness of programs, activities and the mission of Crossroads Farm. We care about the earth
Other
Tell us how you would like to help! We realize everyone has talents that we haven’t addressed above and happy to hear what the opportunities can be
Our activities at the Farm conform to CDC and State of New York guidelines. Farm staff and visitors will be required to wear masks. Please be respectful of others as you visit the farm and wear a mask.
As previously reported and to bolster the safety of our staff and community, the farm is generally closed to visitors and that policy will continue until further notice.
