A fun event for all!

Purchase tickets here

About this event

Join us on Friday, October 8th at 6:00 PM on Crossroads Farm for an outdoor, open-air film screening of SEED: The Untold Story!

In the last century, 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared. SEED: The Untold Story is an award-winning environmental documentary about the dramatic loss of seed diversity and the movement to restore the future of our food.

Seed: The Untold Story is rated PG and is best enjoyed by ages 12 and older.

Crossroads Farm is a non-profit stewardship project of the Nassau Land Trust. To those joining us for this event, we ask for a suggested donation of $10 per person to support the operating costs at Crossroads Farm and to further the land protection efforts of the Nassau Land Trust.

Please plan to bring your own chairs or blankets. Light snacks will be available for purchase.

Schedule:

6:00 – Gather with your community at our open-air movie theater on our event field. Join us on the barn patio to visit our seed library, swap seeds, and learn more about Crossroads Farm and our seed saving initiatives.

6:45 – Introduction to the film and the farm by the staff and volunteers of Crossroads Farm and the Nassau Land Trust.

7:00 – Outdoor film screening of SEED: The Untold Story. (1 hour 30 minutes)
