Volunteers Needed for Our Annual Folk Festival on Sunday June 12

We’re expecting a big crowd at our annual Folk Festival with this year’s headliner being Tom Chapin. We’ll need a lot of support from all our dedicated volunteers.

Please come out and help us.   There’s not only music but lots of activities  that require your support to make this day a success.   Please help us with the petting zoo, bouncy house, registers, ticket taking, set-up, clean-up and more.

The festival is on Sunday June 12th from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There are two time-slots that you can volunteer during and you may select one or both.

The first time-slot is from 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM

The second time-slot is from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Organically Produced Compost

We are producing our own compost from horse manure.

The material is certified organic for our farm use and is available for your garden or business in small amounts (5 gallons) and in large amounts by the cubic yard.  Buy online or at the store and pick up from the farm.  The production process is a great example of sustainable interaction between two farms, ours and the New York Equestrian Center stables in West Hempstead.

All of us look forward to seeing you around the farm!
