A Big Thank You to Williams Fence for Beautifying Our New Teaching & Children’s Garden!

 
 
 
Williams Fence installed a beautiful fence around what will be Crossroads farm new Teaching and Children’s Garden this Spring. The fence was installed professionally and to our specifications.  The owner Pete Williams,oversaw every aspect of the job and assisted us in the decision making process. The day of the job, the crew started on time and completed the job efficiently.

  • Dried and Fresh Herbs – thyme, rosemary, oregano, sage

They’ll be extended store hours on Fridays and Saturdays starting the day after Thanksgiving!

We are very grateful to Nick, Jim, and John for all the hard work that went into upgrading the electric system in the old barn. They worked extremely hard replacing and adding breakers, updating wiring and upgrading and replacing the farm’s circuit box.

Although the Farmers Market is over for the season we still have live music and festivities. This Saturday enjoy the music of Gene Philcox and paint your own pumpkin with our talented volunteer Martha.  The pumpkin painting table will be set up under the barn’s side awning. Please come and shop and have some fun!

Pumpkins, Holiday Decorations and More Fall Flowers are here!

 

Small and large varieties of pumpkins, hay bales, corn stalks, and gourds will be available at the farm this weekend for Fall holiday decorating. Some of your favorite varieties of Fall annuals are available too, including mums, winter hardy pansies, celosia, and ornamental peppers. If you don’t want to do it yourself, purchase a large planter filled with all the flowers of the season.

The pick-up day at the farm will be on Saturday, Oct. 29th  from 9 to 6 or Sunday, Oct. 30th from 10 to 6.

 

Splitting-up helpers are needed! Please email Claudia if you can be there to help on  Oct. 28th. 

Please use our web-based ordering system to place your order.  This enables all of us to see which items have enough buyers to be included.  Information about each item is visible in real time.  We hope this both encourages each of you to select items to order and to see which items are fully allocated or will be soon with your election or elections of the item by others.
