A Beautiful New Look for the Barn at Crossroads!

Boy Scout Troop 24 had a successful car wash fundraiser in March to raise money for paint and supplies to dress up the barn. They also power washed, scraped and sanded the building during three (3) visits to the Farm. The building is now ready for paint. Benny Montalbano of Elite Painting will professionally paint the barn with the assistance of the scouts this weekend.

We  can only successful when we have the support and assistance of our community. We are so grateful to Boy Scout Troop 24 and Elite Painting for giving the barn a much needed face lift!

About Us  |  Events

It’s Almost Here!

  “Welcome Back Gathering”

for Crossroads FarmVolunteers

Saturday, March 24

10:30 am-12:00 pm

Spring is here! Hmm…well it is!  Please join us and your fellow volunteers for a “welcome back” gathering to catch up and discuss plans for the upcoming farm season. There is a lot to do and a lot of fun to be had!

We’ll be serving a light breakfast and refreshments to welcome you back too!

We’ve made some enhancements to our volunteer program to improve your volunteer experience. We’ll fill you in at this “welcome-back” event.

Of course, there’s still many of the same  activities including field work, educational activities, and fundraising events, so much of which will be much more successful if you join us!  We’re also using biodynamic farming principles this year, so there’s lot of new farming techniques to learn and apply.

As you know, the farm depends on volunteers…please try to join us as we start the new farm year!

Please sign up here to join us.

There’s also a volunteer work activity directly following the breakfast. We’ll be seeding up trays of flowers in the greeenhouse. Please sign up below to participate in that and future volunteer activities. To see all the activities, please click the down arrow to the right of the activity on the sign-up page.
