About Us  |  Events

Happy Memorial Day Weekend from Crossroads Farm!

During this busy weekend of barbecues and family activities, lets take time to remember the sacrifices our veterans and their families have endured to ensure our freedom.

Up Next – Food Truck Rodeo Friday, June 15th!

The weather just refused to comply for our first Food Truck Rodeo of the season scheduled for May, so we’re trying it again in June!

Get ready for lots of outdoor fun. There’s family fun for all including hayrides, corn hole games, a bouncy house and face painting for the kids. Adults can enjoy craft beer from Lithology Brewing Co. and other local breweries. They’ll be wine and spirits from Long Island Beverage Brokers.   The food trucks that will be participating for this event: Empanada Queen, Good Eats Grill, Mr. Smith’s Seafood, and Frozen Sin.

They’ll be entertainment by the Stagecoach Band of Long Island. And maybe, some dancing too!

Tickets for the Food Truck Rodeo may be purchased in advance  at the Farm stand or at the door.

Want to get involved?  Want to make a difference at the farm and in your community?  We have a vibrant and well organized volunteer program.  Maybe this is the year for you to get your hands in the dirt and to help sustain this unique and exciting project.  Without volunteers, we couldn’t get all the work done.  We are truly a community effort! We will be enhancing our volunteer program to increase your knowledge of farming. We’ll also teach you some biodynamic principles to use on the farm and apply at your homestead.

Our next orientation is Sun., June 3rd at 10:30 AM.   At these orientations you will learn about the farm and the different activities and opportunities you may participate in.  Please click the link below to sign up.

If you can’t make this date, we are in the process of creating an orientation video and package that you’ll be able to access via Crossroads website or at the farm. Stay tuned!
