Friday, September 8  – 7:00 to 10:00 PM – Civic Wine Tasting: hosted by Malverne Civic and Crossroads Farm
Sunday, September 17 (time to be announced)- Children’s Theatre Brunch Fundraiser hosted by Crossroads Farm and The Malverne Community Theatre
Saturday, September 23 – 1:00 – 6:00 PM – Craft Beer Festival & Fundraiser  (rain date Sunday, September 24th)
Saturday, October 14 – 1:00 -6:00 PM – Oktoberfest Fundraiser (rain date Sunday, October 15th)
 
Crossroads Farm is operated by the  all volunteer board of the nonprofit Nassau Land Trust Inc. 501(c)(3). We receive no public funding. See What’s at the Farmstand This Weekend!

 We ‘ve got corn! It’s fresh, delicious and local from Rottkamp’s Farm in Baiting Hollow. Stop in for the corn and get some of our own and other local farm produce.

 

From Our Fields:

  • Garlic
  • Rainbow Swiss Chard 
  • Cucumbers
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Trilogy String Beans
  • Yellow Summer Squash
  • Zucchini
  • Squash Blossoms by request – call our farmstand or drop in
  • Herbs – Basil, Rosemary, Sage, & Oregano
Also available, our own organic lavender, oregano, and rosemary plants for your home garden.
 
We are fully stocked with local products including Papa’s Country Porch Pies and Cookies, Wally’s Spotted Dog Organic rubs and marinades, Crimson and Clove spices, Brooklyn Brine Shpickles, City Saucery tomato sauces, and Really Good Jam, just to name a few.
 
 
This Weekend from other Long Island Farms:
 
Organic Sweet Potatoes, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Mixed Eggplant, Mini Watermelons, Potato Medley – (red, white & blue),  Heirloom Tomatoes, & Cherry Tomatoes, Green Bell Peppers, Red & Green Lettuces, Celery, Peaches and Mini-Watermelons.

 


There’s Still Time to Brighten your Summer Garden with Annuals!

There’s lots of beautiful flowers still available for your summer garden!

We have annual flats, large and small hanging baskets, and large and small pots.

Varieties include: marigolds, petunias, vinca, geraniums, begonias, celosia and impatiens. Knock-out roses are still available.


 

Want to get involved?  Want to make a difference at the farm and in your community?  We have a vibrant and well organized volunteer program.  Maybe this is the year for you to get get your hands in the dirt and to help sustain this unique and exciting project.  Without volunteers, we couldn’t get all the work done.  We are truly a community effort!
